Day 9

We had a meeting with our social worker this week to discuss details of our pre-placement meeting next week with our birthparents. We also got full medical backgrounds for both birthparents which will be nice as the child get older.
We have ordered new carpet for the nursery and I seem to constantly be checking, adding, and deleting items to both of our registries.
We are waiting to hear when the doctor will schedule our birthmother for her C-section. We believe she is due just about Thanksgiving and think they could possibly schedule her late the week before the holiday. We anticipate seeing and bringing baby home about 3 day the birth. We will get birth information from our social worker when available and then be told when we can go to the hospital and bring him/her home!
